Very welcoming, helpful staff on reception. Extremely efficient. Friendly cleaning and dining room staff also. Wonderful breakfast - particularly the home-made chocolate spread! We would like to have made more use of the facilities in the hotel but we were only staying the one night in Bruges and, therefore, wanted to explore the city that night.

Clean, comfortable and pleasant helpful staff BUT make sure you do not get given a room in the attic which was so small that I hit my head on the sloping roof when getting out of bed in the night. They do cater for groups although there seemed to be very few people in the dining room for breakfast or around in the hotel when we were there. The secure parking in the open air was expensive - 25 euro per 24 hours. The breakfast was very good though the staff did not clear the dirty plates from the table until you'd finished

After the confusion when we arrived (they seemed to have given our twin room to someone else), all was very good. The breakfast is amazing (and generally costs 30 Euro per head, so to have it included in the price is a bonus!)- it really IS a champagne breakfast.

Small, attractive building, friendly staff, excellent restaurant (breakfast and dinner), tiny but adequate swimming pool, very cosy tea room.
