Guests love the location in the old town and many comment on the fantastic home-away-from-home style. The staff are really friendly and all in all you can expect a wonderful time when staying in this hotel.
The hotel features a beautiful, well maintained, traditional exterior dating from the 15th century. The atmosphere is that of an elegant period home luxuriously furnished with richly coloured fabrics complemented by antiques, rugs and paintings.
Being a traditional building, all the rooms vary in size and decor from small to large, but all are decorated with antiques and have a lot of charm and character, with immense attention to detail. Some rooms have beams, some have slanted ceilings, some wooden floors, but all are in very good condition, as are the bathrooms. All standard rooms have one double bed only.
The hotel does not have a restaurant, only a breakfast room serving a sumptuous buffet breakfast and a lounge bar with a roaring fire where guests can relax after a tiring day of sightseeing.
There is an indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room on site for guests' use as well as a private car park with limited spaces.
